When you first turn the ghostbox on, the linear sweep tuner will automatically scan all of
the frequencies in the AM or FM band as selected. You have the option of adjusting
the sweep rate to actually allow whole words from active radio stations to come through,
or you can opt for a faster sweep that sounds more like white noise intermixed with random
phonemes of human voice.
